The Hope Valley Rail Ale Trail from Sheffield to Chinley. The emphasis on this walk is the pubs. Comfy shoes rather than walking boots will be adequate.

"You can expect a memorable drink at every stop along the line combined with beautiful views of the British countryside"

This is a well known route for hikers and beer enthusiasts and we will combine both of these pastimes aiming to amble to 6 real ale pubs on the Hope Valley line finishing at Chinley for a pint and a great italian pizza! The intention is get on the 19.20 train back to Sheff (there's flexibility to get earlier or later trains).

Please refer to www.railaletrails.co.uk for detailed ticket price tips.
I will board the train at Chesterfield with a 'Derbyshire Wayfarer' train ticket (available at the ticket office and costs approx £21 for 2 adults).

All pubs are dog friendly and Brian can't wait to get going!
