Longer Description: Let's start at the Fountain and get the climb out of the village out of the way to the half appropriately name Upper Town. Then we're up on the high fields above Matlock with great views of Chatsworth, Riber Castle and more than likely Curbar Edge and Higger Tor at some point. As no walk in the Peak District is complete without at least some part of the Limestone Way we'll follow that to Winster. After a little climb we'll luncheon at Wyn's Tor. Then head off to towards Ible (Where the knights who say "Ible" come from). Through the lumpy Bonsall mines avoiding Slayley for lovely tea and cakes at the Fountain Tea Rooms.
Leisurely - walks for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. May include unsurfaced rural paths. Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are recommended.
