Walk Description

A walk amongst the hill and valley scenery of Derwent Valley covering both the high ground overlooking Derwent reservoir, along with a walk alongside the banks of the reservoir itself.

We leave the visitor centre, passing Derwent Dam and following the footpath along Ladybower for a short while before ascending up on to the moorland. We walk along the moor for a few miles taking in the scenery before descending down to Derwent Reservior and following the adjacent footpath back to the start point.

Drinks at the visitor centre afterwards.
